some good news + and a request
Hello!
It's been a while since I've written to you, and I'm hoping that everyone is safe and well.
I took some time off from my editorial work because my photography and content work was at an all-time high. The end of the year brought a huge transition and has lead me back to writing and food in a wonderful way: meet slowlivingkitchen.com: a recipe blog where I can share my foraging, food adventures, in our slow living life on a weekly basis.
The website launched in January, and has been going strong with 2-3 recipes dropping each week. In additional to my editorial work (recent links below) and current photo/content clients, I'm so excited to welcome you to the site.
What does this mean for this Substack? I will post here periodically, (eventually monthly) but welcome you to join me on my list here where I'll share new recipes weekly, what I'm foraging (now that it's spring) and more. Thank you for supporting my work, and I look forward you joining me over at Slow Living Kitchen!

One of my most recent was contributing to Eater’s Where to Eat in 2022 package! I had the opportunity to curate and write up the list of the 31 essential Berkshires restaurants where I shared some classic Berkshire institutions, but also included some spots that are newer to the scene and doing great things.
I am working on a series of non-alcoholic beer reviews (and photos) for SF Gate sharing my thoughts on some of the most popular brands in the category. I’ll be doing more work with SFGate in the coming months in food, beverage and travel.
This holiday piece definitely deserves a shout out, and is good for a laugh: I tried 11 weird candy cane flavors so you don’t have to
